Grapevine Municipal Golf Course is a Public, 27 hole golf facility located in Grapevine, Texas.
Originally designed by Byron Nelson and Joe Finger, the Grapevine Golf Course first opened for play in 1979. The course plays to over 6,900 yards for 18 holes from the black tees. With plenty of sand traps, tree-lined fairways, waterways and large multilevel greens, this course can provide entertainment to both the high handicapper and low handicapper alike.
D.A. Weibring's Irving, Texas based design firm, Golf Resources, Inc. designed improvements to the old course and added nine more holes to make a total of 27 holes available at the facility.
The Bluebonnet Nine opened for play in the fall of 1999. This nine offers the golfer a set of holes with spectacular elevation changes, blind shots and fast greens.
The newly renovated front nine of the old course, Mockingbird Nine re-opened for play in the spring of 2002.
The renovation of the back nine of the old course, Pecan Nine was completed and opened for play in June of 2003.
The Grapevine Golf Course facility now has 27 holes with modern tif-eagle greens and naturally scenic roughs and water hazards.
The Grapevine Golf Course is one of the most popular courses in Tarrant County, playing more than 65,000 rounds of golf per year on the average. Green fees range from $30 per round weekdays to $35 on weekends and holidays. With 27 holes, tee times are readily available and on most days, walk ups are easily accommodated.

Excellent value! Course was in great shape even though greens had been lightly sanded. My clients like the layout, food at the grill. I'll be back!!

Only objection was the condition of the greens. They had been airiated in May and were still not covered

This is my favorite local course. It usually requires me to play most of the clubs in my bag. It presents enough "think through the options" to make it intersting each time I play. The course is always in good shape. They don't allow less than a foursome to play before 3PM and that's a bit frustrating for the twosome or the single player.

My first time to play here - found the course in good shape and greens fairly consistent. The place just has a good feel about it. And it was a good test of golf. Easy to see why it's been so popular for so long.

The course was in excellant shape. Greens and fairways in perfect shape in spite of heat wave.
Layout is challenging enough and fair enough from forward tees.
The course is a solid value and enjoyable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pro shop and grill are small by standards of today. The food is good and the wait staff very friendly. I enjoy playing here and would recommned to anyone looking for a great course at a fair price.

Grapevine Municipal Golf Course is a public facility that I rate very high among public facilities. This is a 27 hole golf course; the three 9 hole courses are called Mockingbird, Bluebonnet, and Pecan. Each is increasingly difficult for an average recreational golfer. Fairways are wide, hazards are fair. As a regular there, I find the staff to be very friendly. The Clubhouse is fair, not very big. But there is a separate building for a banquet room. The food at Mulligans Bar is regular fare: hot dogs, burgers, grilled cheese, snacks and mixed drinks. It's all edible. Overall I really like Grapevine Muni as teh best public course in the area. Even better than Iron Horse, which some people like, but I find Iron Horse to have rude people out there (in general). See my review of Iron Horse in Hurst, Texas
